The Accommodation at 9 Mindhams Yard, Wells-next-the-Sea
Accommodation is for 5 to 6 persons
On the ground floor:
- A well-equipped, open plan kitchen with hand painted shaker-style units, fridge, dishwasher, washing machine and Smeg gas hob with electric oven.
- Also an espresso machine along with the usual microwave, kettle and toaster etc.
- All the china is plain white with coloured mugs for coffee. All cutlery is stainless steel and the wine glasses are plain crystal.
- The dining area has an extendable wooden table with 6 chairs, a radio and an iPod docking station. There is a 'coat & welly' cupboard here too that houses the broom and mop, etc.
- Moving through to the sitting room there are two comfy ecru sofas, a gas fired stove, a 32" flat screen TV (complete with Freeview), a DVD player, a video player and a large coffee table.
On the first floor:
The stairs lead to the first floor landing where you will find:- A twin bedded room with two full length, 3ft wide, beds complete with feather & down duvets and feather pillows. Also here you will find a built in wardrobe and a chest of drawers with mirror.
- A modern bathroom with loo, basin, bath, separate shower and cream tiled floor. There is also unlimited hot water via the "heat on demand" gas fired boiler.
- A single / twin room, again with 3ft wide beds and the same bedding arrangements as the twin room, along with a chest of drawers. This is a walkthrough room with the option of closing the door to the second floor staircase.
On the second floor:
A fabulous double room with a king-size bed with a feather & down duvet and feather pillows, dressing table, chest of drawers and flat screen TV. From the velux window there is a wonderful view over the cottage rooftops leading to the salt marshes and the sea.
Miscellaneous Information:
- Gas and electricity are included in the weekly rental charges.
- The cottage is strictly non-smoking at all times.
- Other things to bring are towels, tea towels, and beach towels.
- Bed linen is available at extra cost. The charges are £10 for the double bed and £7.50 for each single. This charge includes having the beds made up ready prior to your arrival.
- Changeover is on a Friday with arrival from 4pm and departure the following week by 11am.
- Dogs are welcome within the cottage, but must be kept downstairs. An extra charge of £10 would be added for additional cleaning required.
